Sobre a validação de modelos microscópicos de simulação de tráfego

Este trabalho discute a adequação dos métodos estatísticos convencionais empregados na validação de modelos microscópicos de simulação de tráfego. Após identificar a incompatibilidade entre as condições de aplicação destes métodos e a natureza das variáveis do tráfego usados nos processos de validação, o trabalho apresenta a adaptação de um teste paramétrico previamente usado, com limitações, no estudo de um modelo de simulação de tráfego ininterrupto em vias de tráfego expresso. A aplicação do teste na validação de um modelo desenvolvido para simular as interações veiculares nas redondezas de paradas de ônibus é então sucintamente descrita e seus resultados são discutidos. O procedimento de validação mostra-se útil e o modelo de simulação é considerado válido. O exercício também revela aspectos do procedimento que precisam ser melhor trabalhados.
