Abstract: This paper presents a survey on Combinatorial Optimization and Mathematical Programming dealing with the hub location models most useful to projects of intermodal terminal installation in Brazil. This research was motivated by the latest changes at the legislation on port concession, leasing and installation authorization, as well as by the scenery of government incentive to the use of intermodal transport inside the Country. It approaches the classification of method types, the mathematical formulation models of the problems and their solution techniques.Downloads
